The Ministère de l'Économie, de l’Innovation et de l’Énergie (MEIE) disseminates geoscientific knowledge on Quebec's geological potential in order to evaluate and promote it, from a sustainable development perspective.

With a constant focus on meeting client needs, in addition to accessing the documentation on geoscientific knowledge acquired in Quebec, you can also consult data from over 800 wells drilled in Quebec, in the form of core samples, vials, or cuttings. This service is free and confidential. To consult the core library, you must complete the « Request for intervention at the core library » form and send it to demande.hydrocarbures@economie.gouv.qc.ca. By signing this form, you agree to comply with the « Sampling Policy for Drill Cuttings and Core Samples » of the Geological Reservoir Expertise Branch's core library.

For further assistance, you can send an email to the following address: demande.hydrocarbures@economie.gouv.qc.ca
